We did not set out to document real estate. We set out to make students want to become part of the life happening inside it.

Student accommodation is often marketed against real-estate benchmarks: room dimensions, clean lines, amenities and a polished but empty view of the building. Scape’s offer is bigger than the room itself. It is city living made comfortable and safe, with community, friendships and everyday experiences built in.
Across KeKi, a growing student precinct close to UNSW in Sydney’s east, each building has its own charm, character and energy. The challenge was to create a coherent suite of assets that could communicate those individual qualities while making the precinct feel like one connected student neighbourhood.
The content needed to do more than show prospective residents where they might sleep. It needed to model an idealistic but believable version of student life: lived in, social, expressive and full of possibility.
The strategy centred on experience-led storytelling rather than traditional real-estate marketing. Across several production trips in late 2025 and early 2026, Insider Studios captured a modular library of hosted student tours, one-take FPV drone tours, real-estate photography and lifestyle imagery across Scape Kingsford, Kensington, Lachlan and Ascot.
The system was designed around the different decisions a future resident makes. Room-listing photography supplied clarity and confidence. Hosted tours let genuine residents explain the buildings in a natural voice. Lifestyle photography added personality across campaigns and owned channels. Drone fly-throughs connected rooms, communal spaces and people in a single continuous experience. The finished Field Guide became far more than an orientation booklet.
Resident-led perspective.
Genuine residents appeared in the tour videos, giving the content a credible human point of view.
A content ecosystem.
Longer tours were supported by 30-second and 15-second edits, with multiple aspect ratios for different placements.
Precinct consistency, building individuality.
A shared visual language connected the campaign while allowing every property to retain its own character.
Useful at every stage.
Assets were built for room listings, websites, digital advertising and in-property digital posters.
Rather than positioning each building only through features and amenity, the messaging focused on what living there unlocks. The central message was simple: choosing Scape is not only choosing a room. It is choosing a way to live.
