The Challenge

IDP Education is a global leader in international student services, operating across 57 countries. Their Student Essentials - covering accommodation, banking, money transfer and healthcare - are a curated range of tools and recommended products for study destinations across the globe.

So, how do you package and promote such a comprehensive service? That’s where Insider’s years of experience in the international education sector was invaluable. Not only were we able to meet the creative goals of IDP’s Student Essentials project, but we understood the needs of their audience, and the cultural nuances necessary to create content for specific countries. With deliverables spanning videography, graphic design, photography and copywriting, it was all hands on deck for the Studio.

Design anD concept:

We collaborated with IDP through every stage of concept ideation, graphic treatment and storytelling. Working with IDP’s brand and design team, we developed and crafted a visual narrative across all of their assets, bringing together their brand colours, core messaging and visual identity.

When it came to conceptualising the video component, we found real international students who love where they live and want to inspire the next cohort. This brought authenticity and genuine excitement to the final product.

Results:

As just a taste of IDP’s final creative suite, here are some of the results of this mammoth project:

Brochures

Each brochure was created bespoke for each of IDP’s target regions, with specific service offerings and relevant destination visuals. With a bank of imagery and copy provided by Insider, IDP staff from offices around the world can utilise and edit the brochure in a way that works for them to suit the nuances of their audience.

Posters

Posters were produced for each target region, highlighting the unique services in that area.

Videos

The four unique product videos captured scenes with students representing all of IDP’s target regions. The videos were crafted sequence by sequence to depict one of IDP’s Student Essentials, creating narratives that didn’t just demonstrate the service, but told a story that students can aspire to when considering their study abroad journey.

Social media templates

Insider’s templated social media graphics for each Student Essential service means IDP can work with a flexible set of creative. The categorised artwork allows them to swap imagery, add copy and utilise the design in the ways they need.
